Beaver Creek, Colorado

• The Ritz: if you can swing it, this is the scene in Beaver Creek/Bachelor Gulch
• Beaver Creek Lodge: Marriott Autograph Collection Beaver Creek Lodge
• The Osprey at Beaver Creek: just steps away from a main chair lift
• The Pines Lodge, a Rock Resort: a ski in/ski out hotel condo that looks relatively affordable

• Grouse Lift: This area was my very favorite ski runs on the mountain by a long shot. Experienced skiers only, as this lift takes you up to only double blacks (though, they felt like the equivalent to a tough black in Aspen). Very few skiers were in this area, so we had the mountain and lifts to ourselves. Amazing powder and quick lines! 
• Vail Mountain is also only a 25 min drive away from Beaver Creek. It's my favorite mountain to ski out of everywhere I've been, so you could do a day of skiing here if you are staying in Beaver Creek or Bachelor Gulch. 

Mountaintop Lunch Recs

• Talons Restaurant: good spot for healthy options & right by Grouse lift
• Spruce Saddle: beautiful views & convenient location if getting a lesson or if your kids are in ski school. Not a lot of food options.
• Mamie's Mountain Grill & Broken Arrow Restaurant are the other two spots you can try out 

Apres Recs

• The Ritz: this is the spot to go! It has live music, outside bar, & firepit. You can either hang at the Fireside Bar or go inside to The Great Room. 

Dinner Recs

• Zach's Cabin: Sleigh ride from the base of the mountain to the top, where they will drop you off for a mountaintop dinner experience in a beautiful cabin. This is a must do! Book in advance. 
• The Ritz: dining options here include the following: 1) Wyld; 2) Sakaba; 3) Buffalos
• Beaver Creek Chophouse: spectacular slope side views and live music; their lunch and dinner menus are filled with great steaks and fresh seafood. 
• Coyote Cafe: fun mexican spot; recommend for carry out or in-person dining

• Transportation: You can easily get around Bachelor Gulch by downloading the app called Village Connect - it's a shuttle service that will quickly transport you around the area
• Ski Rentals: we love using Ski Butlers which is a ski rental delivery service. Schedule a 7:30 AM delivery time for the first morning you are planning to ski, so that you can hit the slopes early while still enjoying bfast and coffee at your house/resort. They will bring a couple different sizes for options. You will schedule a ~5:30 pm pick up for your last ski day.
