The French Polynesia is the ultimate honeymoon destination! Beautiful, remote, romantic, relaxing, yet fun. We spent 10 nights in absolute paradise and I wouldn't have changed one thing about my honeymoon. As this is one of the more expensive honeymoon destinations you can choose, I definitely recommend going for 10 nights -- no need to tack on a full two weeks just to fill the time. 10 days is so much time to live in absolute luxury. Also, I would choose two spots and spend more time in both. No need to add a third just to fill the nights and see more places. It lets you slow down, soak it all in, and maximize two of the best spots in the world for longer.
Go to the Brando for 5 nights and go to Four Seasons Bora Bora for 5 nights. You can stay in Tahiti for one night at the beginning and end of your trip depending on your travel journey to get there (i.e. if you have a long travel journey, you might want to consider this option vs. if you have a short travel journey there skip it) -- you truly want to minimize your time in Tahiti as the Islands nearby is where the real magic is.
